The Rhino tape that bends: nylon that wraps cable, conduit and curves without the edge lifting.
Flexible nylon is the cable tape in the Rhino range. This page covers 12mm 18488 and 19mm 18489 in black on white, 12mm 18490 and 19mm 18491 in black on yellow, and 24mm 1734524 in black on white. Each cartridge holds 3.5 metres. The nylon face follows a curve instead of fighting it, so a wrap around a cable bundle, a flexible conduit or a knurled fitting sits flat, and it holds on rough and textured surfaces where a rigid tape peels. It is rated from minus 40C to 90C and UL recognised to UL 969.
Pick the width by what you are wrapping and how much legend you need. 12mm is the standard cable and conduit size and covers most switchboard and comms work. 19mm gives room for a circuit description or a two line legend on larger bundles. 24mm is for heavy trunking, large diameter conduit and flag labels that have to be read from a distance. Black on yellow is the usual choice for warning, hazard and safety related circuits, black on white for everything else.
Check machine fit before ordering, because it changes with width. 12mm fits the Rhino 1000, 3000, 4200, 5000, 5200, 6000 and 6000+. 19mm needs a Rhino 4200 or larger. 24mm fits only the Rhino 6000 and 6000+. No Rhino cartridge fits a LabelManager or LetraTag.
