No. LetraTag and D1 are different cassettes. This tape fits DYMO LetraTag machines only, and a D1 cassette will not fit a LetraTag. Check the machine says LetraTag on the front before you order.
Plastic is water resistant and tear resistant, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, storage tubs and anything wiped down. Paper is matte, cheaper and easy to write on, which suits filing and short term indoor labelling. Iron on is for fabric such as uniforms and sports kit.
Plastic and paper cassettes hold 12mm x 4m, which is roughly forty labels at 100mm each. The iron on cassette holds 12mm x 2m, so it is half the length.
Yes. Plastic white and plastic clear are also sold as twin packs of two 12mm x 4m rolls, which brings the cost per roll down.
You print the label as normal, then press it onto the fabric with a household iron. It bonds with heat rather than adhesive, so it survives washing better than a stick on label.
