Hand squeezed retro label maker with three tapes, no batteries and no printing.
The DYMO Organiser Xpress Pro bundle, part 2175570, is the dial and squeeze embosser people remember from the kitchen drawer. You turn the wheel to a character, squeeze the handle, and it is pressed into 9mm plastic tape as a raised white letter on a coloured background. Three tape cassettes come in the box, so it works the moment you open it. There is nothing to charge, install or connect.
It takes 9mm DYMO plastic embossing tape only, sold in the black three pack 1741670 and the blue, red and green trio pack 1741671. It is not a printer and it is not an industrial tool. It will not take D1, LetraTag or Rhino cartridges, and it has nothing in common with the Rhino M1011 metal embosser, which stamps 12mm steel and aluminium strip for plant tagging. The 49 character wheel covers letters, numbers and common symbols, one line at a time.
The appeal is that the label looks handmade rather than printed, and that a child can work it without help. It suits pantry jars, seed trays, craft and scrapbooking, school lockers and sorting out the shed. Each 3m roll gives plenty of short labels, so the three cassettes last a long while.
