Manual tool that stamps characters into 12mm metal strip for tags that outlast paint stripping.

The DYMO Rhino M1011, part 310110 and DYMO product code S0720090, is a heavy duty hand embosser that presses 4.775mm characters into 12mm aluminium and stainless steel strip. Nothing is printed, so there is no ink, ribbon or coating to fade, dissolve or burn off. The tag survives heat, chemicals, solvents, salt water, UV, abrasion and paint stripping, which is why it is specified for plant tagging, valve and pipe marking, electrical asset plates, and defence and marine work.

The kit arrives in a hard carry case with the embosser fitted with the standard horizontal character wheel, a reverse image wheel, a 12mm x 3.65m roll of non adhesive aluminium strip and a 12mm x 4.8m roll of non adhesive stainless steel strip. The frame is cast aluminium and the tool weighs 2.3kg. A built in hole punch, a cable tie slot punch, a measuring gauge for the leading and trailing edge and a front scissor cut off are all part of the tool.

It takes 12mm DYMO metal strip only. It will not take the 9mm plastic embossing tape used by the Organiser Xpress Pro hand embosser, and it is not a Rhino printer, so Rhino cartridges do not apply. The strip is non adhesive on purpose: the finished tag is fixed with a rivet, screw, banding strap or wire through the punched hole, so nothing peels off a hot, oily or vibrating surface. No. The strip is non adhesive. Tags are fixed with rivets, screws, banding straps or wire through the punched hole or cable tie slot, which is why they stay put on hot, oily and vibrating surfaces.
12mm DYMO metal embossing strip only. Aluminium is part 301241 and stainless steel is part 301242. It does not take 9mm plastic embossing tape or Rhino printer cartridges.
No. Both the standard horizontal wheel and the reverse image wheel are supplied with the kit. The M11-SW standard wheel, part 1837736, and the M11-RW reverse wheel, part 1837737, are sold separately as replacements.
