DYMO LetraTag Label Makers and the Tape They Take

LetraTag is the small, low cost end of the DYMO range, made for labelling at home, in a study, a classroom or on a reception desk rather than on a factory floor. The detail that matters most is the cassette. LetraTag machines take LetraTag tape only. A D1 cassette from a LabelManager will not fit, and neither will a RHINO industrial cartridge. Every machine here is genuine DYMO and prints by direct thermal, so the cassette is the only thing you buy after the machine. Because the machine is cheap and the tape is small, LetraTag is usually the first label maker a household or classroom owns, and the tape colours and finishes are the reason people keep using it.

Choose the 100H if you want a self contained handheld you can carry to the cupboard, the shed or the filing cabinet. Choose the 100T if the machine will sit on a desk and get typed on with two hands. Choose the 200B if you would rather work on a phone screen than a small keypad, and want fonts, borders and symbols from the app rather than the machine. All three run on batteries, and the 9V adaptor in accessories powers the 100H and 100T from the wall. Then buy the tape at the same time, in the colours and finishes you need, so the machine is usable the day it arrives. If you outgrow 12mm, or need labels that survive a workshop, that is a LabelManager on D1 tape, not a bigger LetraTag.
