Heat shrink tube does something a wrap around label cannot. It slides onto the conductor before the termination goes on, then shrinks tight with heat so the marker becomes part of the cable and cannot peel, slide or snag. DYMO RHINO heat shrink is genuine printable polyolefin supplied in 1.5m cartridges for RHINO industrial tools, and it is sized by the diameter of the cable rather than by gauge. Every width here fits the RHINO 4200, 5200 and 6000+.

Measure the cable over the insulation before you order, because the size on the box refers to cable outside diameter and not to conductor gauge. Below the range the tube will not grip after shrinking, and above it the tube will not slide on. The 3:1 shrink ratio leaves enough room to slide the tube on easily and still pull it down tight, and a heat gun is needed to set it. Print the run first, cut, slide, terminate, then shrink; once it is down it is there for the life of the cable.
