The top of the LabelManager range: D1 tape to 24mm, five print lines, Bluetooth and USB-C.
The DYMO LabelManager Executive 640CB, part number 2197370, is the only machine in this range that prints 24mm D1 tape. It takes DYMO D1 standard and durable cassettes in 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 19mm and 24mm, and prints up to five lines on a label, with the line count set by the width: one line on 6mm, two on 9mm, three on 12mm, four on 19mm and five on 24mm. A large high resolution graphical display carries the label preview, the tape width, the label length and the battery and connection status.
Connectivity is what separates it from the 420P below. Bluetooth Low Energy pairs it with a phone or tablet running the DYMO LabelManager Executive Connect app, and USB-C connects it to a PC or Mac running DYMO Connect for Desktop on Windows 10 and later or macOS Monterey and later. On the machine it saves up to 30 labels, and label storage in the app is effectively unlimited. It prints EAN 13, EAN 8, UPC-A, UPC-E0, UPC-E1, Code 39, Code 39 EXT and Code 128B barcodes, and runs on a rechargeable 7.2V lithium ion pack that charges over USB-C in about three hours.
Choose the 640CB when you want 24mm tape, phone printing or long label lists that live in an app rather than in the machine. If 19mm is wide enough and you do not need Bluetooth, the 420P covers it for less. If you want the same machine with a carry case and extra tape, take the 640CB kit. D1 is the only tape that fits: LetraTag tape and Rhino industrial cartridges will not load.
