The DYMO M10, part number S0929010, is the largest capacity scale DYMO makes for postal work. It is a silver desktop unit with an LCD display, a tare function so you can weigh contents inside a carton, and a hold feature that locks the reading for ten seconds when the parcel covers the screen. It runs off the supplied USB lead or three AAA batteries, not included, and shuts off when idle.

Pick your model by the heaviest thing you post rather than the average one. The M2 reads to 2kg, the M5 to 5kg and the M10 to 10kg. A scale that is over capacity shows an overload indication and gives you nothing, so a bench that occasionally sends a 7kg carton needs the M10 even if most days are satchels. There is no larger DYMO postal scale, so consignments beyond 10kg need a platform or floor scale instead.
