This bundle pairs the DYMO LabelWriter 5XL, part number 2119761, with a single roll of 220 extra large shipping labels at 104 x 159mm. That is the four by six inch size Australia Post and the major couriers expect. The 5XL prints at 300 dpi by direct thermal, so barcodes and QR codes scan first time and there is no ink, toner or ribbon to buy. Connection is USB or Ethernet LAN, so it can serve a whole despatch bench.
The difference between this and the bare machine is simply the labels. The 5XL sold on its own arrives without a usable roll, so a first order normally needs label stock added. Here the first 220 parcels are covered. The 5XL Starter Pro Bundle is the same machine with six rolls, 1320 labels, for anyone shipping in volume from day one.
On fit, the 5XL is the wide format machine in the LabelWriter ladder. The LabelWriter 550 and 550 Turbo stop at 62mm wide labels and cannot print a four by six inch courier label at all. Automatic Label Recognition reports the installed roll size, type and labels remaining, using authentic DYMO labels only.
