Genuine 90W mains adaptor for the wide format LabelWriter 4XL and 5XL.

This is the DYMO power adaptor, part number 1738545, sold as a single unit. It outputs 24V DC at 3.75A, which is the rating the 4XL and 5XL need to drive their wide print heads across 104 x 159mm shipping labels. If your wide format printer shows no lights and no response, a failed or missing adaptor is the usual cause, and this is the matching genuine part.

Do not swap in the standard LabelWriter adaptor. The 1733232 and the 2209403 supplies are built for the narrower desktop models and are rated lower, so they will not run a 4XL or 5XL reliably. The reverse also applies: this 90W unit is made for the wide format printers only.

No. The standard adaptors are rated lower than the 90W the 4XL and 5XL are built for, so the printer will not run reliably.
Newell has not confirmed whether the Australian part ships with a mains lead. Keep the lead from your original adaptor, or call us on 1300 783 961 before ordering if you need one.
If the printer shows no lights at all with a known good power point and lead, the adaptor is the usual cause. If it powers up but prints streaks, clean the print head instead.
