DYMO 2191635 LabelWriter Jewellery Price Tag Labels are genuine direct thermal paper labels measuring 10 x 19mm, supplied as one roll of 1500. The shape is the point: each label is a barbell, with a printable flag at each end and a narrow glue free waist in the middle. You wrap the waist around a ring shank, an earring post or a spectacle arm and press the two flags together, so the tag hangs off the item instead of sticking to it.

DYMO lists these for the LabelWriter 550, 550 Turbo and 5XL. They are a newer part and are not supported on the older 450 and 400 series, which is the one buying mistake worth avoiding here. The 550 series and 5XL read the roll with Automatic Label Recognition and only accept authentic DYMO labels, and because a LabelWriter prints by heat there is no ink, toner or ribbon to buy.

1500 tags on a roll is a full season of tickets for most jewellery counters, and the two flags give you room for a price on one side and a SKU, barcode or metal and stone code on the other. Use the 13 x 25mm 11353 instead if the item is boxed and a flat sticker will do. The label is shaped like a dumbbell with a printable flag at each end and a narrow centre that carries no glue. You pass the centre around the ring shank or earring post and press the two flags together, so the tag hangs from the piece rather than sticking to it.
No. DYMO lists the 2191635 for the LabelWriter 550, 550 Turbo and 5XL only. It is not supported on the 450 or 400 series.
The 550 series and the 5XL use Automatic Label Recognition, which reads a code on the roll to set the label size and track how much is left. Third party rolls carry no code, so the printer will not run them.
Each flag takes a short line or two, so a common set up is a price on one flag and a SKU, barcode or metal and stone code on the other. Test a barcode scan before a large run, because a long code needs more width.
